Southampton must up their bid for Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Forster.

Celtic insist they do not wish to sell Forster but if Southampton offer around £8million for the England international goalkeeper it may prompt a deal.

The initial offer is understood to be around £4m.

Hoops boss Ronny Delia said: "We want to keep Fraser because we want to qualify for the Champions League and build our team.

"We want to do what we can to keep him here."
