Southampton youngster Harrison Reed set to join Derby County on a season-long loan deal.

Reed is considered one of the brightest young stars in the Southampton squad but with the competition for places in the Saints first team so fierce due to the influx of stars, the 19-year old is unlikely to be handed regular minutes on the pitch at the St. Mary's Stadium this season.

As a result, Reed has been made available on loan by Southampton and now according to reports from Winner Sports, it has been claimed that Championship side Derby are looking to sign the midfielder as a replacement for the injured Will Hughes.
