Southampton are moving for RB Leipzig striker Alexander Sorloth.

Fanatik says Southampton are moving for the Norway international as a replacement for Danny Ings, after his £25m sale to Aston Villa.

Former club Trabzonspor were also keen on Sorloth, but intermediaries know Saints are now involved.

It was with Trabzonspor where Sorloth rebuilt his career after a difficult spell with Crystal Palace ahead of being sold to RBL.

The Turks would like to bring him back this summer, though will battle to compete with cashed-up Saints.
