Former Liverpool attacker Dirk Kuyt admits he's drawing career inspiration from Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs.

Kuyt, about to come off contract at Fenerbahce, wants to play for as long as he can.

"I am someone who is jealous of Ryan Giggs, who has played until his forties," Kuyt told RTV Rijnmond. "If your body can endure it then you should keep going at such a level.

"It would be great if I could manage that."

The 35 year-old has been linked with a return to Feyenoord, along with Ronald Koeman's Southampton.
