Southampton have been hit by a double injury blow.

Dejan Lovren and Gaston Ramirez suffered ankle ligament injuries during their 2-2 draw with Sunderland on Saturday.

Lovren was forced off when he tried to tackle Craig Gardner and Ramirez was the recipient of an ugly tackle from defender Wes Brown.

Ramirez tweeted a picture of the pair with their ankles in ice baths and Southampton have refused to comment on how long they may face on the sidelines.
