Graziano Pelle is keen to return to Italy this summer.
Thee Southampton striker, according to the Daily Star, has his heart set on a move to AC Milan at the end of the current season.
Pelle, 30, is under contract at St Mary's until the summer of 2017 but is eager to get back to his homeland as soon as possible and will push for a south coast exit.
The January arrival of Charlie Austin suggests to Pelle that the Saints are preparing for life without him and he is reportedly more than happy to leave Southampton for the Rossoneri having spent the past four years away from his beloved Italy.
Pelle has spent most of his career in Italy with Lecce, Cesena, Parma and Sampdoria but has also had spells in Holland with AZ Alkmaar and Feyenoord.
