Southampton striker Ricki Lambert isn't losing sleep over his England snub.
Lambert's 11 goals this season make him the highest-scoring Englishman in the Prem.
That was not enough to force his way into Roy Hodgson's latest Three Lions squad for the friendly against Brazil even after Jermain Defoe and Daniel Sturridge picked up injuries.
Goal machine Lambert insists he is not losing any sleep over the snub.
Lambert said: "I never expected the call and I'm not going to let it stress me out whether I am going to get picked.
"I do believe if you are good enough the manager will give you a chance like he gave my team-mate Adam Lallana a chance. I think if I keep working hard, scoring goals and trying to prove myself that will be enough to get a call."
