Southampton young gun Luke Shaw is confident his club skipper Adam Lallana will be present in Brazil this summer.
The 25-year old midfielder has been in fine form at club level this season and has performed impressively when called up for England leading Shaw to believe that a spot in Roy Hodgson's final squad is on the cards.
"I think Adam is nailed on for Brazil with the way he's been performing for his club and now his country," Shaw, who made his debut in the 1-0 win over Denmark on Wednesday night, told Southampton's official website.
"We know what talent Adam has and he proved it to the world [against Denmark]."
As for his own performance, the 18-year old Shaw was planning to keep his firmly on the ground despite being lauded by the press after replacing Ashley Cole at half-time at Wembley.
"It's a good kind of attention. Every kid would dream of getting this recognition from media all around the world," he added.
"It's great for me but I'm just going to stay myself. I'm not going to change after playing for England, so I'll just keep doing what I'm doing."
