PSV attacker Jeremain Lens is a top January target for Southampton.

The Sun says Saints boss Nigel Adkins will launch a fresh £5.5million move for Lens in January.

Saints had a £4m bid snubbed by the Dutch club last summer but are keen on the Holland international.

Lens, 24, said: "I plan to transfer. I prefer the English and German league, they fit me perfectly."
