Charlie Austin is set to remain in the Premier League following QPR's relegation.

The 25-year old striker is a target for Southampton and Newcastle United and it is expected that he will not make the drop down to the Championship with the R's.

The Daily Mail reports that both the Saints and Magpies are showing considerable interest in Austin, who has netted 17 Premier League goals this season, and are expected to make moves in the summer transfer window.
