Southampton have been dealt a blow with news that Toby Alderweireld is set to be sidelined for a month.
The Belgian defender, who is on a season-long loan from Atletico Madrid, sustained a hamstring injury in the weekend's 1-0 win over Manchester United and is now expected to miss up to four weeks.
Alderweireld has been impressive since arriving at St Mary's Stadium having made 16 appearances for the Saints how currently sit third on the Premier League table.
Alderweireld posted a photo on Twitter of his rehabilitation and was planning to return to the Saints line-up in top physical shape.
