Fraser Forster is happy with his decision to leave Celtic for Southampton.
The stopper has been delighted with how things have gone so far and praised the influence his manager has had in the club's great start.
"I felt it was time for a new challenge," he told the Saints website. "I will always be grateful to Celtic for what they did for me. It's been a fantastic challenge to come in and I'm also really grateful to Southampton.
"The fans have been brilliant, it has been a good start for us. The Champions League experience I have has helped me coming into the Premier League. Now it's a case of working hard every week, trying to put in good performances on the pitch.
"It is a very ambitious club. We got in some top quality players and the manager has been brilliant. He has got us all playing really good football. We just want to keep the run going."
