Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino is set for a stunning £30 MILLION spending spree this summer.

The Mirror says Pochettino will spend some of the £30million treasure chest promised to him by chairman Nicola Cortese this summer on Malaga defender Jesus Gamez.

Gamez, 28, is a former Spanish under 23 international while Pochettino's search for defenders has also taken in Ecuadorian international Frickson Erazo of Barcelona SC.

The former Espanyol manager also has been looking at Victor Ruiz and Victor Wanyama as part of his hopes to strengthen the South Coast outfit in the off-season.
