Nathan Jones was handed his P45 by a Southampton fan before this morning's dismissal.

Jones was sacked after yesterday's defeat at home to Wolves.

The Daily Echo says at the end of the match, a supporter was pictured with a sign depicting a P45 for manager Jones, who is understood to be under increasing pressure in his role.

After Joao Gomes's late winner for Wolves on Saturday, the supporter attempted to take the P45 to Jones in the dugout.

Jones headed straight down the tunnel at full-time following the defeat, which he claims is the first instance of his doing this across his managerial career.
