Southampton will face competition this summer for Real Madrid Castilla prospect Martin Odegaard.

The 16 year-old Norway international was watched by Saints boss Ronald Koeman a fortnight ago and the Dutchman is keen to take him on-loan next season.

However, Celtic manager Ronny Deila is also keen, confirming: "I have not heard if Ödegaard's situation has changed.

"But if it is true that he will be loaned, we will explore it and see what's possible."

Odegaard joined Real in January from Stromsgodset.
