Southampton defender Maya Yoshida admits James Ward-Prowse had a problem with previous manager Mark Hughes.
Now under Ralph Hasenhuttl, Ward-Prowse has played his way to the prospect of an England recall.
"If you were able to see him practice them in training, you'd see that he is one of the best free-kick takers in the Premier League," the Japanese international told the Daily Echo.
“Under the previous manager [Mark Hughes] he was having a difficult time, but he continued to prepare well and remained professional.
“That's why he got his chance with the new manager when he came, and I am really happy for him."
