Southampton's Head of Football Development, Les Reed, believes Ronald Koeman will see out his contract with the club.
The Dutch tactician took the reins at St Mary's last summer, signing a three-year deal, when Mauricio Pochettino left for Tottenham.
There have been murmurings that Koeman could leave the south coast club prior to the summer of 2017 but Reed is confident that his history suggests he is in it for the long haul.
"He's said he's going to stay," Reed told Sky Sports News HQ.
"Ronald's record at Feyernood and Ajax, where he did a really good job, was that he saw his contract out. He hasn't got a record of jumping."
Koeman currently has the Saints sitting seventh on the Premier League table, seven points clear of eighth-placed Swansea City, with four fixtures remaining.
