Southampton are closing on a deal for Molde goalkeeper Orjan Nyland.

The People says Southampton will meet a £2.2million buy-out clause to sign Nyland.

Everton have been trailing Nyland for almost a year as a potential replacement for Joel Robles.

But Roberto Martinez has dithered and now the Saints are set to jump in.
