Southampton are eyeing Evian wing-back Daniel Wass.

The Mirror says Southampton see Wass as a possible replacement if Nathaniel Clyne goes to Manchester United.

The Saints are among a number of clubs chasing the pacy and versatile 25-year-old, who plays for Evian in France's Ligue 1.

The talented wideman - who has 13 caps for his country and who can also play as a winger - is understood to be available for just £1.5million this summer, when he will have just a year left on his contract.
