Southampton boss: Man Utd, Chelsea targets Lallana and Shaw not for sale

Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino insists that none of the clubs stars are for sale this winter.

Captain Adam Lallana continues to be linked with a £15million move to Manchester United, young left-back Luke Shaw is on the radar of Chelsea as well as United and Manchester City and striker Jay Rodriguez has attracted some interest from Liverpool.

But Pochettino, who has vowed to remain on at St Mary's despite the resignation of chairman Nicola Cortese this week, says nobody from the south coast club is up for sale this month.

"I want to make one thing clear: no one is for sale at Southampton, no one," he told Saints Player.

"And I believe the same thing. No player that I don't want to leave will leave this club."

When quizzed further on the issue, Pochettino added: "I want to make one thing clear - no one is for sale at Southampton. No one.

"My viewpoint hasn't changed from a week ago. No player that I don't want to leave will leave."
