Southampton boss Ronald Koeman is proud of his influence on Holland's run to the World Cup semis.
Two of Koeman's former Feyenoord protégés, Stefan de Vrij and Bruno Martins Indi, were outstanding in Brazil.
"I got the feeling that I was watching 'my "boys'," said Koeman.
"We have made great strides together at Feyenoord. Beforehand I was quite skeptical, but it's been a fantastic tournament.
"It was once said that the Dutch defenders are not good enough for that level, but they have shown that they can very well handle such tests."
