Southampton boss Nigel Adkins is tightlipped on their move for Bologna winger Gaston Ramirez.

There have been reports the transfer of the Bologna man is close to collapse but Adkins refused to elaborate directly.

"We have been linked with a few players," he said.

"I don't know if there are any more developments but there will be more players coming into the club before the transfer window shuts."
