Southampton star Jason Puncheon admits his Tottenham penalty howler has inspired his current form.
The Palace winger scored his fifth goal since his nightmare miss at White Hart Lane in January as the Eagles soared up to 12th in the table.
"It was a difficult time for me," he said.
"But to give the gaffer his credit, and the coaching staff - Gerry Francis, the gaffer and David Kemp - they were great for me. The way the gaffer spoke to me about it - told me not to worry about it, forget about it and prove how good a player I am.
"Since then I haven't really looked back. That has been a good thing for me.
"I think it's important with anything you do - you must look forward to the next game. We've won three in a row so we look forward to the next one. I think this one was massive, we've got two tough away games."
