Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is blocking the departure of Ashley Young.
The Daily Star says Solskjaer wants to keep Young and has told the veteran defender he will be staying at Old Trafford this summer.
Young, 33, signed a 12 month contract extension in February that runs until the end of next season.
Young is one of the ageing stars at Old Trafford fans would like to see replaced.
A source close to Young said: "He won't be leaving United. The manager still values him for several reasons and has made that clear to him."
