Sol Campbell keen for Arsenal to move for Costa Rica defenders

Former Arsenal defender Sol Campbell has urged Arsene Wenger to consider Costa Rica's defensive players.

Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis has pledged to finance more signings after the deal for Sanchez was confirmed.

Campbell said: "As a centre half I was very impressed with the two Costa Rican centre halves, Díaz Campbell and Umaña - maybe Arsene Wenger should have a look at those two defenders as they are very tough, very uncompromising lads who have played unbelievably well in Brazil.

"Another player who has impressed me and who Arsene should look at is Ochoa the Mexican keeper - he's been unbelievable - he's a free agent, he'll be sitting on the beach in Cancun waiting to choose a club - I can't believe he hasn't got a club yet."
