Sochaux are lining up to bring back West Ham United striker Modibo Maiga.

Maiga has struggled to make an impact at West Ham and manager Sam Allardyce is ready to offload him in January.

The striker is wanted by former club Sochaux, with discussions focused on a six-month loan with the view to a permanent deal next summer.
