Socceroos squad for World Cup qualifier announced

The Socceroos squad for the World Cup qualifier against Japan on February 11 has been announced.

Pim Verbeek will recall all of his European-based stars to take on the Japanese in Yokohama in Group A of World Cup 2010 qualifying.

The injury to Brett Emerton has forced him to miss out whilst Blackburn teammate Vince Grella returns after missing the last three World Cup qualifiers.

Craig Moore is the only Australian-based player in the squad.
