Houston Dynamo recruit Koke has finally arrived at his new club and has undertaken his first training session.
The 28-year old Spanish forward has joined the Dynamo from Greek club Aris Thessaloniki after a stint of close to five years and is almost ready for his MLS debut.
Dynamo coach Dom Kinnear liked what he saw as the former Malaga, Marseille and Sporting Lisbon man linked up with his new teammates for the first time on Wednesday.
"He's traveled so long to get in late and then come out and train," Kinnear said. "A good first touch. I watched his movement in the game, and holding the ball up was the one thing that I noticed.
"Obviously, I'll find out more with the more time he spends here."
Koke knows that MLS will provide him with some new experiences after playing in very similar leagues in Europe.
"I played in Spain, France, Portugal and Greece, and those leagues were practically the same," he said.
"But this is totally different in the United States, but I think I'm going to adapt quickly."
