Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti will not be dipping into his own pockets to fund their planned summer overhaul. Instead, says Mediaset, Moratti expects to cover the massive changes by selling Wesley Sneijder - and possibly Julio Cesar.
Christian Chivu, Ivan Cordoba and Luca Castellazzi will be allowed to come off contract, while Mauro Zarate (Lazio) and Angelo Palombo (Sampdoria) will be returned to their parent clubs.
Walter Samuel will stay on a new deal, at half his current salary and the same is planned for Douglas Maicon. Philippe Coutinho will be offered to Espanyol as a permanent signing and loan players Andrea Poli and Fredy Guarin also could be dumped if they fail to impress in the closing weeks of the season.Diego Forlan could also be offloaded after a dismal first season in Italy.
