Arsenal are set to complete the signing of Omar Rekik from Hertha Berlin.
The Gunners agreed a £900,000 fee to sign the 18-year-old centre-back last summer, as part of Matteo Guendouzi's move to the German capital.
But the Premier League giants did not leave enough time to rubber-stamp the deal and Rekik remained with Hertha.
And Rekik has now fuelled speculation he will join Arsenal next month by posting a photo on Instagram of him arriving in London.
Rekik is not expected to solve Mikel Arteta's defensive woes and could be loaned out straight away.
The Tunisian will join Arsenal's U23 side but will have opportunities to train with the first-team.
