Former Australian international Josip Skoko returned with great benefit to the Melbourne Heart line-up last week.

The 34-year old midfielder pulled the strings in the middle of the pitch for the Heart when they defeated the Wellington Phoenix 2-1 at AAMI Park and combined well with Dutch striker Gerald Sibon and Brazilian speedster Alex Terra to help the new club grab their second win of the season.
