Moussa Sissoko believes the strength of Tottenham's squad will be key to securing a top-four finish in the Premier League this season, reports the London Evening Standard.
The north Londoners are four points better off than they were at this stage last season but face a battle to secure a second successive spot in Europe's primary competition.
"We are a big squad, a strong squad, so the manager can play with different formations," Sissoko told Tottenham's official website.
"The team can play well with whichever shape. The subs that came on [in Sunday's victory over Burnley] also tried to make a difference and that's good because if you want to finish high up the table at the end of the season you need a big squad and everyone to be focused.
"I was on the bench but the manager wants every player who comes on to try to help the team and that's what I tried to do with the assist so it's perfect in the end," he added.
