Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone was coy today over his treatment of Antoine Griezmann.

On-loan from Barcelona, Atletico must pay €40m to sign Griezmann permanently should he play at least 45 minutes in 50 per cent of the games he is selected in this season.

Atleti want Barca to drop this price and so far Griezmann has been a second-half substitute for the first three games of the season.

Asked about the situation, Simeone made clear where he stands in the situation.

He stated, "You have known me for ten years. I am a club man and always will be."
