Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone is delighted with the instant impact of Fernando Torres.

The former Chelsea striker has hit the ground running since his arrival this month from AC Milan.

Simeone remarked: "We said we would not have the same player from when he was at Atleti as a kid.

"We wanted him to help us continue to grow. At 30 years of age you don't forget how to play football. Today at Atleti we think about nothing else but the team. Our system is a collective one, we seek players who want to have that sense of belonging."
