Former Dutch international Victor Sikora has joined the Perth Glory as a replacement player for the injured Amaral. The former Ajax Amsterdam midfielder arrives in Perth on Saturday and could be a chance to debut for the Glory on Boxing Day in front of home fans against Adelaide United.
Sikora represented his country on six occasions and coach Dave Mitchell is excited about the thought of the 30-year old in a purple shirt.
"We have been proactive in our efforts to find quality players and there was an opportunity to bring Victor over and we're delighted that it has worked out for everyone involved," Mitchell said.
"It is disappointing that Amaral is sidelined but we haven't just sat on our hands, Victor is someone who will definitely bring something to our squad," added Mitchell.
