League OneShrewsbury have lined up a home pre-season friendly against Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray. The Istanbul giants have promised to field a strong team for the clash which takes place on Saturday, July 13 with a 3pm kick-off.

Shrews secretary Jayne Bebb said: "We were looking for something special for the team and supporters to experience this pre-season and after a lot of behind-the-scenes negotiation we have landed this attractive fixture against the Champions League quarter-finalists of last season."
