Tim Sherwood wants Aston Villa to leave it all on the Wembley pitch for their FA Cup semi against Liverpool.

The claret and blues take on Liverpool in the FA Cup semi-final in buoyant mood.

Sherwood said: "I know what the occasion brings - it's about keeping the players calm and making sure they don't get beaten by the occasion.

"There's a lot of regrets about losing in the semi-final. I know that because I've played there before and lost (twice).

"I don't want them to have any regrets after the game.

"It's not a great feeling when you lose but we're going there in a positive frame of mine.

"We're going there looking for glory for this football club."
