Aston Villa hot prospect Lewis Kinsella has revealed that it was manager Tim Sherwood who convinced him to join Luton Town.
Kinsella was widely touted to make his first team debut for Villa soon after featuring on the bench recently but the youngster instead made a move to Luton until the end of the season on a loan deal.
The move surprised a few people but the 20-year old has stated that he made the switch in order to experience regular first team football and revealed that it was manager Sherwood who convinced him to join the League One outfit.
Kinsella told the Birmingham Mail: "I was on the bench for the last three games and it has been a good experience but the gaffer and I came to the decision that I needed to get some experience and get some game time.
"As soon as I heard that Luton were interested I wanted to get it done. I haven't been around my family for the last four years so it's good to be at home with my mum and dad and be playing regular football."
