Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood plans to dump his underachievers this summer.
Sherwood says the annual fight against relegation must now be a thing of the past.
He said: "Losers are not remembered. We have to move out the losers.
"Winning becomes a habit, like losing does as well and you have to say that over the last four years Aston Villa have had too much of a losing habit.
"I'm not saying that everyone who leaves here is a loser - but the ones we bring in have to be ones who want to achieve and move upwards.
"This cannot become a graveyard for footballers who want a last pay day. This has to be the birthplace of the new generation."
