Prospective Manchester United owner Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani wants to bring club legends into the fold in the coming months.

The member of the Qatari royal family has a serious desire to buy United from the Glazer family, with Sir Jim Ratcliffe the other interested party.

Per ESPN, Sheikh Jassim has already contacted several Manchester United legends to talk about how they can be brought back into the club.

The Qatari wants to discuss terms with the likes of Gary Neville and Paul Scholes over potential roles at the club under his ownership.

United's club legends have been critical of the way the club has been run over the past few years through various media and punditry roles.

There is no indication as to whether the Qataris have made an offer that has enticed the Glazer family to agree to a club sale at present.
