Sheffield Wednesday are planning a swoop for Norwich City outcast Gary Hooper.

Hooper has proven to be a huge disappointment since his arrival to the club from Celtic and the striker seems to be surplus to requirements at Carrow Road this summer.

Now according to Sheffield-based newspaper The Star, it has been claimed that the Owls are eyeing a move for Hooper on a season-long loan deal.
