Sheffield United veteran Billy Sharp says he'll look for an extension if this season goes well.

The living club legend will be a free agent come season's end.

Asked what his plans were, Sharp said: "I've got a contract for this year and next, which'll take me to 35.

"I feel great and if I can do well this season, I'll be knocking on the gaffer's door looking for an extension!

"To get two years is great for me and my family because there's security there, and I can concentrate on being a professional footballer in the Premier League.

"Hopefully I've got another two years of that, and then we'll see what happens after that."
