Sheffield United manager Nigel Clough has revealed that Johnny Russell has emerged as a transfer target this winter.
The Wednesday manager signed the 23-year old Scottish forward from Dundee United when at the helm of Derby County this past summer and could go now after him in January.
"It's fair to say that he is on the list," he told the Derby Telegraph.
"Then again, so are a few others.
"Johnny has got good qualities but we've not spoken with anyone about him yet because the window hasn't opened.
"We'll have to wait and see what happens because he's not the only one we're looking at."
