Sheffield United are eyeing Nottingham Forest midfielder Jonjo Shelvey.

Shelvey joined Forest in January from Newcastle United, but battled for minutes under manager Steve Cooper.

The Mirror says the Blades are now making a move for the midfielder.

Shelvey's experience is attractive to Blades boss Paul Heckingbottom, who is counting on Forest releasing the veteran.

Forest aren't expected to stand in Shelvey's way.
