Sheffield United are ready to hand Jack Robinson a return to the Premier League.

Sky Sports says Sheffield United are thought to be not far away from confirming a deal to sign Nottingham Forest left back Robinson.

The 26-year-old, who started his career at Liverpool, was at the Blades' training ground yesterday for a medical and is expected to put pen to paper in the next 24 hours, according to Sky Sports.

Robinson has been an ever-present in the Championship for Forest this season, and will add strength in depth to the Sheffield United back line.
