Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder says they must be active in the January market.
Wilder was speaking after defeat to Manchester City.
He stated: "A bit of adjustment in January will make us stronger and better. They're strong together and that's easy to see, this is a group that have a great attitude and now we need to get better in our play in and out of possession.
"Yes, we've had some meetings on recruitment. It's been very positive, hopefully in that players will move out and you don't want to carry anybody so there will be some going out and some coming in to make us better.
"It's the first time in the Premier League for a lot of these players and we'll take it game by game."
