Sheffield United's move for Liverpool striker Rhian Brewster has stalled.
Brewster, who spent the second half of last season on loan with Swansea City, had been expected to leave Liverpool again, with Sheffield United and Crystal Palace named as potential landing spots.
However, talkSPORT reports his potential move to United, which was ostensibly making progress as the two teams continued discussions this week, has hit a stumbling block.
Liverpool would reportedly like to sell Brewster on a permanent deal. However, the Blades are keen on a season-long loan.
It leaves the clubs at an impasse as they look to strike a deal to see Brewster move across the Pennines and join up with Chris Wilder's squad.
