Former Leeds United, Everton, Newcastle United, Bolton and Sheffield United star Gary Speed will be announced as the new manager of the Welsh national team on Monday.

The 41-year old has agreed a deal with the Football Association of Wales which will be officially announced, ending his recently-signed three-year deal as Sheffield United manager.

The Blades are already on the lookout for a replacement with former Newcastle United boss Chris Hughton and Brighton's Gus Poyet leading the pack of contenders.
