Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer hailed Alexis Sanchez's winning Manchester United debut last night.

The Chile international provided the assist for two Manchester United goals scored by Marcus Rashford and Ander Herrera.

And Shearer thought Sanchez was the Red Devil's best player at Huish Park.

He said: “Alexis Sanchez has looked like Manchester United's best player.

"He has been quick and sharp and is their best attacking outlet.

“He is very difficult to pick up with the way he runs, strong, quick, direct, makes him so difficult to knock off the ball."
