Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer was critical of Harry Kane's performance in England's Euros win against Croatia.
England won their opening game of a European Championship for the first time, beating Croatia one-nil thanks to Raheem Sterling's effort - and while Kane nearly added a second, he didn't look on top form.
Shearer, who hit 30 goals for England, picked Kane out as the one man who didn't quite hit the mark expected.
"Harry Kane looked a little bit slow for me," Shearer told the BBC.
"That ball that came across I thought he was going to put in the back of the net.
"England didn't create that many chances for him to get on the end of - but other than Harry Kane everyone looked really sharp."
